This is a nickel Automatic Electric Company (Strowger) brass name tag for a metal ringer box. The tag has a 10 digit, Strowger dial embossed on the top of the badge. The tag reads:

COMPANY
CHICAGO U.S.A.
PATENTED
The tag has a groove on the bottom by which a screw attached to the metal ringer box holds the tag to the box.
