Automatic Electric (Strowger) 3” Nickel Transmitter Assembly “C” Complete Automatic Electric Company (Strowger) nickel transmitter assembly with a 7/8” knurled nut. The transmitter face plate has a 3” diameter and reads: AUTOMATIC ELECTRIC CO. PATENTED IN U.S.A. MAY 19, 1906 C CHICAGO, ILL. The transmitter elements are unusual as there is an internal capsule which is held in place by a large ring. This ring screws inside the transmitter face plate to hold the transmitter in place. The nickel transmitter back cup is unmarked but is shaped at the end to attach to the perch and limit the motion of the transmitter assembly. The knurled nut and bolt are nickel. This knurled nut is 7/8” diameter. The mouthpiece is Automatic Electric. FOR SALE $225
