When the phone rings the matching 40A and 40B bells produce those rich clear tones. These early brass bells are only found on early 1937 and 1938 Western Electric 302 desk sets. The ringer is not dated however that is only normal for 1937 Western Electric ringers. The phones handgrip is not louvered; louvers were discontinued by Western Electric in the last half of 1937 after Western Electric determined they were not necessary. This phone has been thoroughly cleaned and tested and provides excellent transmission quality when making or receiving calls. This phone is guaranteed to work. It has a modular cord so just plug it into an RJ11 jack and begin calling and receiving calls. FOR SALE $290
