The Type 31 Monophone which is a 1A Monophone mounted on a sub base or switchbase, has a modified switchhook switch that has a plunger that presses a lever in the sub base that releases the switch or switches (Line 1, 2, etc.) This plunger is part of a special Monophone cradle and I am looking for one of these cradles with the parts. The plunger and the brass piece that holds it are clearly visible in the two part photo above. As near as I can tell, the plunger assembly is a part of the bakelite cradle and may not be removable. I have a complete set and don't want to take it all apart. I have all the parts necessary to build another complete set except for this release mechanism. |
