NE Early 10-button Touch Tone Keypad? (1/2)

| Here is the keypad of a NE wall phone I just purchased. Each button measures 1/2" and does not have any plastic contour at the base, contrary to the standard touch-tone buttons measuring 3/8" and having a plastic contour at the base. So I thought it is an early prototype from NE. Am I right? |
