I am looking for a couple of sets of Western Electric Top-Box Bridging Terminals. This is the version that has the threaded Stud that only accepts circular Knurled nuts. I have several of these terminals that are missing the knurled nuts. I may have to have these made from scratch. The "issue" is the actual size of the threaded stud. I have gone to many Hardware Stores, even a couple real old-time ones, and have not been able to find a single nut that will work on the threads. The folks in the hardware business, who pride themselves in being able to match just about any thread size, have scratched their heads on this one. The size looks like 10-32, but 10-32 won't come close to working. It is possibly 12-32, which nobody stocks today. It could also be 14-32 which nobody has either. Does anyone on these lists "know" what the thread size actually is? Or, can I buy 15 or 20 complete terminals with the 2 Knurled nuts? |
