Telephone Set TA-341/TT is a transistorized semi-ruggedized telephone desk instrument designed by North Electric Company. The AC signaling scheme provides compatibility with the AN/TTC-30, and any similarly equipped electronic central office. The TA-341 is designed to operate with the following equipments: a. Central Office, Telephone Manual AN/TTC-32 b. Central Office, Telephone Electronic AN/TTC-30 c. Telephone TA-341/TT The telephone is used to originate and receive calls by way of the associated Switching facility, or can be connected "back-to-back" with another telephone for point-to-point service. It is a four-wire instrument, and uses local-battery (internal batteries) for power. Voice-frequency tones are used for digital and supervisory signaling to and from the AN/TTC-30 switching facility. |
