The white telephone set is an AT&T 2500 MMGJ dated 1991. It is all "electronic" with everything on the beige printed circuit board. The hook switch contacts are in the hole in the center of the board. A plastic 1-piece "T" is the hook switch button and actuator. The hand set does not have a standard carbon microphone (This handset will not transmit on a standard 2500 set.) This set hookswitch provides separate A-A1 contacts for a key system. The set is so light a thick iron plate was placed at the bottom to make it feel right.--The handset does not come apart as the standard beige handset shown. With the two screws removed there is still some catch holding the handset closed. I do not know what is inside. |
