| Western Electric G36 handset in transparent housing, 1976 vintage. G36 provided extra fixed amplification on long loop circuits. Notice the circuit boards at both ends. Hardwired grey coil cord fits into modular handset, as was a common practice in later W.E. special-purpose handsets. If anybody has the BSP (501-211-103), I would appreciate a copy.
