GPO 700 series planset with yellow pressbutton

| The yellow pressbutton set was one of the last of the General Post Office Lease phones. The multiline Duo-grey Planset was leased through independant company TR to a local Constabulary Chief. Just as Ma Bell deregulated, the British Post Office allowed for private ownership of phones, with the same loss of quality experienced by folks in the States. Sigh |
