This is the caption in Chinese for the poster. I don't know the translation. The poster (previous image) shows a lineman up a pole working in a tropical storm. It is a tropical version of the famous Bell painting "Spirit of Service" depicting the Blizzard of 1888. I think the poster dates from the 1970s when the US had not yet opened up to China. The lineman appears to be in a Red Army uniform. |
