This large grouping of telephones, most if not all visible in this photo, sold for a whopping $19,500 plus 15% buyer's premium and sales tax, to one of the "high rollers" in the audience who was bidding against another in the audience. There were a few nice items in the group, and you see them all. There is NO way the suggested price range for this grouping could be valid, and to think that someone actually exceeded the price range is unbelievable to me. I believe that you can see why someone with reasonable expectations would not win anything here. I do know a collector who got what he wanted for exactly what he bid on the internet, from another state. None of the signs were in the "mint" category, yet the prices for signs were high, often higher than the suggested value range.
