Here is a Sunny Yellow AE Starlite wallphone from the third and final generation. The base would be made of black colored plastic and it has a built in plug in the base for the set cord but the handset remained hard wired. There is also a locking chromed metal locking bar to hold the wall phone onto the wall jack. There was no illumination of the dial on these “E” models. All Touch Call Starlite phones (desk & wall) have the color matched plate around the touchpad where as Rotary models don’t. The switch hook contacts are built onto the main circuit board. The handset cord exits on the lower left side now rather than upper left side. |
