Illinois Bell Advertisement

| I just acquired this Illinois Bell Advertising blotter that is about 5" long and 3" high, mint condition. It's interesting that this D mount (202) could be had for 15 cents per month for two years. This suggests that the Bell System was only collecting $3.60 over a two year period for installing this set on the customer's premises. That was a real bargain given the cost of basic telephone service and long distance calling. |
