| I have connected an old wood toggle switch to my 7-J 5 Cent coin collector to provide reversible 70vdc power to collect or return coins. The power plant is a W.E. 101G and I have rectified the AC supply to obtain the DC current. When the toggle is in the left position, pressing the red button collects the coin. When the toggle is in the right position, the coin is returned when the red button is pushed. Although this collector was designed to work in conjunction with the telephone line, this collector is setup for demo only and there is no phone line to the 293 set above. They are simply attached to the common backboard for display. Thanks to Steph Kerman and Rob Baxter for the "know-how" to create this working display. |
