"At the Lancaster show last Saturday, the owner of a paddle phone (photo 2013),
sold the phone to a well-known collector for a bargain price.
Another well-known collector who is known for honesty and integrity,
wanted the phone too, but was too late, but expressed his desire to the
new owner and offered him double what he paid.
The new owner, a man of integrity, realized that this collector really
wanted the phone and decided that the fair way to make this happen was to
ask for a refund from the original owner so that the original owner could sell
it to the collector willing to pay double the price.
The original owner was thrilled to receive double what he had gotten a few
minutes earlier and the second new owner was equally thrilled having wanted
one of these phones for a long time.
Everyone made out on this deal, even the first buyer,
who felt very good about his role in making the other guys very happy.
We won't ID the first buyer, but can assure you that he is
a man of integrity with a desire to please others."
